Box Hill

This is Box Hill which is an area of woodland owned by the National Trust in Surrey. Me and a friend from university followed two different walks that you could take.

The first was the hill top stroll which was short but full of amazing views. We then went to the Box Hill Cafe where my friend Heather enjoyed a luxury hot chocolate and coffee cake! I had been to the gym in the morning and didn't want to ruin my hard work! Otherwise, I would of joined in on the cake!

The second walk we took called the stepping stone walk didn't work out the way we thought it would! We walked down 275 steps just to get to the stream, we walked across the stones and then found we had to do an up hill hike! Other people had hiking boots and sticks, we were just in normal trainers! The hill was literally vertical, I thought I was going to fall down but we made it to the top!! Below will be a few photographs of me being silly at the top of the hill and others to show what we got up to! Enjoy!

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed the view as much as I did!

A Day At Portobello Market

Me and my University friends recently spent the day at Portobello Market. For anyone that doesn't know what it is, it's a market in Notting Hill that sells mostly vintage clothing and other items. There are also many independent shops on the Portobello high street that sell unique pieces.
As you will see in the photo below me and my friend Heather accidentally wore identical outfits...oops! We went to the Humming Bird bakery that is on the high street, I bought a biscuit bar and a brownie. They were so good! Might have to buy the Humming Bird Bakery cook book and remake the biscuit bar as it was too good!

We loved the market but ended up in Westfield shopping centre! The main reason we went to Westfield was to eat at five guys as I have never been. The food was so nice but not worth £11 for a cheeseburger, chips and drinks! Felt more of a classy McDonalds than a restaurant.

Below will be the best photos from my day...

What I'm wearing:
Hat: River Island
Leather Jacket: Topshop
White Cami Top: Topshop
Bag: ZARA

London Freshers

As you know, I've moved to Epsom in Surrey which is outside London. The first month of university is full of freshers events at some crazy clubs! The clubs I went to were Ministry of Sound and Pryzm. London is buzzing with night life and would highly recommend Ministry of Sound if you got some extra money! I do not recommend wearing stilettos in night clubs (personal experience), so painful! Wear platform heels, so much better! My favourite night out was at Ministry of Sound, I love the atmosphere of the club! Also because theres about five different rooms with different music playing! So me and my friends would go from the main room that plays mainstream club music and then a smaller room that was just deep house music. Love it! Can't wait to go back to Ministry of Sound to see Kid Ink! Let me know if your going!
Below I will include a few photos of me and my friends on our nights out!

September Favourites

This is my first favourites blog post! I may start doing this monthly if my favourites change often. I thought I would do this post because this month I realised that I've been using different products that I've been loving them! My favourites range from makeup to movies to accessories! Below I will include images of the products and why I love them so much!

......................................................................................
Beauty Favourites

Eyelure lashes No 145
As all of my friends and family know, I wear false lashes a lot! I love them, I feel like they really finish my makeup. These are the Eyelure reusable strip lashes in No 145. If you want to make a statement with your eyes I would recommend these lashes for full eyes!
Price: £5 Where to buy: Boots, Superdrug or Super markets.

MAC, Pure Zen
I bought this lipstick a few months ago but only just started using it on a regular basis this month. Its hard to see the true colour of the lipstick by looking at this image, but on the lips its a smooth nude colour. This is a creme sheen lipstick so its more creamy on the lips. This lipstick is perfect to wear with bold eye makeup such as smokey eye or just dark browns/pops of colour.
Price: £15 Where to buy: MAC counter/store.

Maybelliene, Super stay better skin foundation
My new favourite foundation, I've been wearing it everyday! This foundation is full coverage, matt and long lasting. Perfect for my oily/combination skin! Although, I think nude is too pale for my skin at the moment! I am wearing this foundation in the image on the left, gives you an idea of the finish.
Price: £8-£9 Where to buy: Boots, Superdrug or Super markets.

Vaseline Lip Therapy, Aloe Vera
Since coming home from Zante I've noticed that my lips are very dry and just not nice ha! I think its the effect from the sun and being dehydrated, oops! Well, over September this lip therapy has helped so much, I've used it every day and have noticed my lips looking fuller and healthier!
Price: £1 Where to buy: Primark

Other Favourites

The Fault In Our Stars, Movie
Since moving to university me and my flat mates have been having a lot of movie night! This is because we don't have much money! I loved this film so much, it was so touching and romantic. I recommend having a girly night and watching this!

I hope you enjoyed reading my monthly favourites and hope this post gave you some ideas of products that you can try out!

London Street Style

On Wednesday I went to London to take photographs of peoples 'street style', this was a mini project set up by my course for Fashion Journalism. Me and friends on the course took the tube into central London and went to places like Covent Garden and Soho to find people with style! Below I will include the photographs that I took in London and few other things I got up to on that day!
I had to be up early to get into London so these pancakes at my local Whether Spoons hit the spot! They were also only £2 so handy for a student.
Before going around London and taking photographs of fashion, me and my course went to the Tate in London to look at the Malevich exhibition. This was the view from the balcony cafe.
We were told to buy a high end magazine that we have never read before, I chose Dazed. Mostly because its featured Nicki Minaj!

The next images will be of London Street Style.

And I bumped into Gabbie from Velvet Ghost on You Tube! She was so lovely!

I hope you enjoyed this post, this what I've been getting up to at university so far!
Thank you so much for reading this post!

Moving To University

On the 13th of September, I packed all my stuff up and moved it all to Epsom, Surrey! I'm so happy to be moving out of my home town because I get to experience somewhere new! But, I'm sad because I have to leave my family and friends, love them! Its been so fun buying things like glasses, kitchen bits, towels and just everyday things ha! I'm excited to be living close to london, meeting new people, starting a new journey in my education and moving out! I am going to be staying in student accommodation near my university, the room isn't a box room though its a large double which I'm so happy about! I also get a parking space at the accommodation to keep my car. I was so worried I'd have to leave my car at home but it gets to come with me!
I will include photographs to show you guys what I took to university and my room there!
So these are my beautiful friends! Going to miss them all so much :(
 Before the two hour drive!
Filled my mums car and my car with so much stuff! Don't think I left much in my room!
Once we arrived at the University and picked up my keys, we went to the local ASK, I had this cute raspberry lemonade!
Bought some Herbalife to attempt to healthy at the beginning of University!
This is my room at university! Its so big and I also have a balcony!
This was my first meal at university! Chicken breast cooked in spices, brown rice and mixed salad with peppers! Not bad!
This is our local park that I have to walk through to get to university.

Thank you reading, I will be posting more about my first week at university very soon!

Zante Memories!

As I've mentioned loads I went on holiday to Laganas, Zante! Got back this morning and I miss it already! I travelled with club 18-30, they were amazing and set us up with tickets to the best events. I went to events like The Full Moon Party, Pure Beach Club, Zante Live and the VVIP Yacht Party! Missed out on the white party sadly as I was broke before Sunday! Yes we were drunk every night but to be honest thats what we went out there for! Sex on the beach and sambuca shots were our favourites. Met amazing people and friends that I will see at the club 18-30 reunion weekend in November! For anyone considering going on holiday to Laganas, if you don't like noise don't go! But if you wanna party till 7am every night, GO! Loved it so much, made more memories on the beautiful island. Planning my next holiday to Ibiza already!
